By booking a tour with A Grand Day Out you accept the conditions noted below:

Tour information and general conditions

Whilst every effort is made to keep tour information up-to-date, tours may be subject to change. A Grand Day Out tours go ahead in most weather conditions. However we reserve the right to alternate venues or cancel tours in the situation of unbearably inclement weather, road closures, fire bans and or any other circumstance beyond our control. In these postponement situations, confirmed paid guests are offered the opportunity to reschedule and or a full refund if dates are unfeasible.

A Grand Day Out tour is dependent on a minimum number of 3 and a maximum of 9 guests.

Prices stated are per person, in $AUD and include GST. A pre-payment for all tours is required. Payments are accepted via direct deposit, PayPal, credit card over the telephone or internet transfer. Tour places are not confirmed until payment is processed and you have received confirmation from A Grand Day Out, which will also include an estimated pick-up time.

A Grand Day Out has central pick-up points, however can arrange pick-up and drop-off at a pre-determined location of your choice if advised at the time of booking.

Whilst every effort is made to adhere to our tour schedules, advertised departure and return times are approximate and are dependent on traffic, road closures and unknowns on the day. The estimated pick-up time will be confirmed once payment has been finalized. Please be ready at your pick-up point 5 mins prior to advised time. Unfortunately there is no refund for guests who miss the bus if they fail to be at the pre-arranged pick-up point.

A Grand Day Out is not responsible for any cancellation or rescheduling of events, gallery exhibitions or dining experiences etc. In the case of rescheduling we will find a suitable mutual agreeable date to transfer guests to and or 100% refund of the amount paid. In the case of postponement or cancellation of an event, gallery exhibitions or dining experience etc a 100% refund of the amount paid.

A Grand Day Out advertised tours are not recommended to anyone under 18 years of age. However please contact us regarding Private and or Customised tours that may include young adults and children. Please bear in mind that our vehicles are unsuitable to carry wheelchairs, prams and or capsules.

For any components of the tours that are not operated by A Grand Day Out we cannot and do not take responsibility for injury of loss of any type arising in any matter.

A Grand Day Out finalises all arrangements upon the express condition that it shall not be liable, apart from non-excludable liability, for any injury, death, damage, loss, accident, delays, generally or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of defect in any venue, vehicle or through the acts of default of any person engaged in conveying or accommodation of passengers or in the carrying out of arrangement of tours, events or otherwise in connection herewith.

Private and Customised Group tours – require a non-refundable deposit of $500 to secure the booking, with the final balance due 7 days prior to the departure date. Cancellations are accepted on Private and Customised group tours, however fees apply dependent on the amount of notice provided and whether the tour is associated with a major event, gallery exhibition or dining experience whereby pre-sale third party tickets* are necessitated.

Special requirements – Should you experience motion sickness it is essential that you bring motion sickness pills. Some roads travelled on, in particular those from the Southern Highlands to the coast, are steep with multiple sharp bends.

Consuming with safety – It is the responsibility of tour guests to consume with safety according to their individual dietary requirements, including any food allergies or intolerances, or any other health issues. Food substitutions may be available with adequate notice. Please email us if you have any concerns.

Responsible Service of Alcohol – A Grand Day Out is committed to running tours where guests are both happy and safe. In line with our duty of care to tour guests, A Grand Day Out ensures that alcohol served and consumed on the tour is done so in a responsible way in accordance with the Liquor Licensing Act 2007. To consume alcohol at the venues, tour guest must be able to prove they are over 18 years of age.

Regulations – Our vehicle is fitted with seatbelts and it is mandatory that they are to be worn at all times whilst inside our vehicle.

Food and beverage consumption inside our vehicle is prohibited with the exception of complimentary refreshments provided by A Grand Day Out.

Smoking is not permitted inside, or within a 10 meter radius of our vehicle.

Privacy Policy – Personal information shared with A Grand Day Out is solely used in the organization of the tour and to contact you via email to update you on special events and or offers from A Grand Day Out. Please let us know if you would like to be on the mailing list for special events or offers.

All information provided by you for the purpose of tour bookings is not distributed to any other person(s) or group not involved in processing your payment. This includes your personal details and credit card information, which is stored securely and is only available to the business owner, booking agent and merchant facility provider who directly process your tour payment. Once tour payments have been approved and or transactions between the guest and A Grand Day Out have been completed, all credit card information is destroyed via secure means for example shredding, pulping or disintegration.

Cancellation and Refund Policy – cancellations are accepted on all advertised tours should rescheduling be unfeasible, however fees apply dependent on the amount of notice provided and whether the tour is associated with a major event, gallery exhibition or dining experience whereby pre-sale third party tickets* are necessitated and or a Private and Customised group tour (see below).

Notice provided over 7 days prior to tour departure 80% is refunded. Between 2-7 days of tour departure 50% is refunded. Within 48 hours of tour departure, guest cancellations, rescheduling or refunds are unavailable and or where no notice is provided.

Termination Policy – You agree to abide by all instructions given to you before and during the tour. A Grand Day Out can terminate the tour or your right to participate in the tour in the event that you fail to comply with any such instructions or in the event that your behaviour disrupts the tour or threatens the safety of its participants. In the circumstances if the tour or your right to participate in the tour is terminated you will not be entitled to a refund and A Grand Day Out may claim against you for any loss it incurs as result of your failure to comply with an instruction or disruption of the tour.

Disclaimer: A Grand Day Out exercise every care in the selection of reputable suppliers of the various venues and services associated with and used in our tours. It is important to note, therefore, all bookings with A Grand Day Out are subject to the terms, conditions and limitations of liability imposed by the service providers whose services we utilise, some of which may limit or exclude liability in respect of death, personal injury, delay and loss or damage of baggage. Because of this A Grand Day Out does not accept liability for events beyond our control nor liability for accidents incurred due to actions taken at your own risk.
